- Health IT consulting company the Reli Group promoted Swami Swaminathan from CIO to CEO.
- Dorothy Urschel, DNP, Columbia Memorial Health COO, will succeed Jay Cahalan as CEO of Albany Med Health System's Columbia Memorial Health in Albany, N.Y., effective Jan. 1.
- Bernard Boulanger, MD, will serve as executive vice president and CEO of Tower Health's provider enterprise in West Reading, Pa., effective Oct. 31.
- Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Avera Health named Kayleen Lee interim CEO of St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill, Neb.
- John Antes was appointed the new president and CEO of Carbondale-based Southern Illinois Healthcare.
- Christopher Ellison, MD, was selected to be the 103rd president of the American College of Surgeons.
- Mark Amox will take on the position of president and CEO of Searcy, Ark.-based Unity Health on Nov. 1.
- John Walker was selected as the next CEO of Medical City Lewisville (Texas).
- Rick Henvey, current president of healthcare operations at Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health, will take over as the organization's CEO in January.
- HCA Virginia named Allyssa Tobitt CEO of its Parham Doctors' Hospital in Richmond.
