Pat Basu, MD, has joined the leadership team of Varsity Healthcare Partners as managing partner.
Dr. Basu most recently served as president and CEO of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, previously serving as president and CEO of Brown Legacy Group — CTCA's parent holding company — according to a Feb. 1 release.
Dr. Basu has also held senior leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, Doctor on Demand and Virtual Radiologic. He previously served as a presidentially appointed White House Fellow and senior advisor from 2010 to 2011, according to Linke˚dIn.
In his role at Varsity, Dr. Basu will lead the company's operating partner program out of the Chicago office.
