Dr. Mahesh Inder Veer Singh was named executive vice president of digital health company UpHealth's international division.
Dr. Singh started his healthcare career 25 years ago as a primary care physician in India and has since held roles including CEO of India's Max Smart Hospital and senior adviser at consulting firm McKinsey & Co.
"[Dr. Singh] is exactly the right leader for UpHealth's international business, especially in India where we have innovative, high-tech solutions for bringing affordable, quality care to rural and underserved areas," Sam Meckey, CEO of UpHealth, said in an Oct. 20 news release from the company.
