The partnership is set to begin Feb. 1, according to the report. Sound Physicians will be responsible for staffing and billing customers for Presbyterian’s 36-bed hospital in Santa Fe. Sound Physicians has already partnered with Presbyterian’s Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho and Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

The Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center is one of nine hospitals in New Mexico operated by Presbyterian Health Services, the state’s largest health system, and has been in operation for four years, according to the report.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
