The acquisition is a continuation of a partnership between the two groups that began in 2020, according to an April 12 news release. Through this deal, Vytalize aims to expand into multispecialty care, along with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and commercial plans.

The acquisition was made through Vytalize taking a controlling interest in Practice Management of America, IPA NY’s parent company. PMA offers care coordination, care management and administrative services to over 1,000 locations.
