Signify Health oversees a network of more than 10,000 clinicians across all 50 states and brings clinicians into the home in an effort to close gaps in care, identify chronic conditions and address social determinants of health, according to a March 29 news release.

Signify’s clinicians spend an average of 2.5 times longer with their patients during home visits than an office visit with a primary care provider, the release said.

The combined company will focus on improving broad access to high-quality healthcare, especially for Medicare Advantage patients. It will also aim to reduce costs and improve care delivery capabilities, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
