  1. Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan called on physicians to share their personal experiences with private equity during a keynote at the annual meeting of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
  2. The School of Public Health at Brown University in Providence, R.I., launched a center to conduct research on issues of healthcare spending, including Medicare Advantage and private equity.
  3. The U.S. physician group market is expected to grow to $397.1 billion by 2030 with a compound annual growth rate of 4.5% during the forecast period.
  4. Private equity company Ascend Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Seoul Medical Group, an independent physician association.
  5. Emergency medicine management company American Physician Partners filed for Chapter 11 protection.
