Dr. Armstrong currently serves as principal investigator of the Childhood Cancer Survivor Study, which examines the long-term outcomes of childhood cancer patients who survived five or more years after diagnosis, according to an April 5 news release.
Dr. Armstrong is also a co-program leader for the cancer control and survivorship program at St. Jude. In addition, he is a member of the steering committee for the National Cancer Institute’s childhood cancer data initiative and the Children’s Oncology Group’s scientific council and outcomes and survivorship committee.
