Here are four physicians joining the boards of companies and organizations Becker's has reported on since Jan. 18. 

Dr. Jay Shah has been appointed chief growth officer of Duo Health, a medical group focusing on patients with chronic and end-stage kidney disease.

John Espinola, MD, has been named president and CEO of PacificSource Health, a community health plan serving patients in Idaho, Oregon, Montana and Washington. He will take the position effective April 3.

Peter Rosenberg, MD, has been elected chief of medical staff at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, Cal.

Faisal Quereshy, MD, DDS, has been named president of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. 

Stephanie Cox-Batson, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Unity Health Care, a healthcare network treating an estimated 100,000 patients in Washington, D.C., across nearly 30 health sites.

Dr. Mazia Shafi has joined the team of Las Vegas-based Southwest Medical, Nevada Business reported Jan. 24. 

Stephen Divers, MD, and Dr. Vance Wright-Browne have been appointed to the board of managers for the American Oncology Network, a network of physicians and other healthcare providers established in 2018.

Kenji Saito, MD, JD, has joined the medical advisory board for Harvard MedTech, a digital health company. 

Thomas MacGillivray, MD, was elected president of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons at the society's annual business meeting Jan. 23.
