Dr. Inouye serves as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and director of the Aging Brain Center at the Marcus Institute for Aging Research at Hebrew SeniorLife, both based in Boston, according to a March 1 news release from JAMA Network. She previously served as an associate editor at JAMA Network Open.
Dr. Inouye will take on her new position July 1, according to the release. She succeeds Rita Redberg, MD, who has served as editor-in-chief of the publication since 2009.
