In this role, Dr. Burke will be responsible for overseeing the state’s health performance and quality reporting efforts within the Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids — a program for children in uninsured, low-income families — populations.
Dr. Burke has nearly 30 years of experience practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Georgia. He has previously served as the chief medical officer for Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge, Ga., and as chair of the Stratus Healthcare governing board.
