Dr. Aaron Kugelmass named chief medical officer of Deborah Heart and Lung

Aaron Kugelmass, MD, has been slated as the next executive vice president and chief medical officer of Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, N.J.

Dr. Kugelmass received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston before completing his internal medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco, according to a Dec. 12 press release from Deborah Heart and Lung. He is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine.


Dr. Kugelmass comes to Deborah from Baystate Health in Springfield, Mass., where he held several roles, including chief of cardiology services and system vice president. He has also held leadership positions in the cardiology departments of Henry Ford Hospital and Health System in Detroit and Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
