Dr. Mitty most recently served as chief physician executive at Steward Medical Group in Dallas, where he was responsible for medical staff and service line growth and practice acquisition. He has been on Steward Medical Group’s board of trustees since 2009.
Dr. Mitty is on faculty at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston as an associate clinical professor of medicine. He has also served in a variety of leadership roles at Steward’s St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, including chair of the department of medicine.
