2 physician public leaders step down

Two prominent physicians are stepping down from their public leadership roles.

1. Joseph Kanter, MD, resigned from his role as chief medical officer of the Louisiana Department of Health.

2. Joshua Gordon, MD, PhD, will step down from his role as director of the National Institute of Mental Health on June 14.
