  1. Amazon is offering Prime members a discounted membership to One Medical, Amazon’s membership-based primary care provider.
  2. Amazon Clinic, the tech giant’s virtual care platform, said it shows patients pricing up front so they are not caught off guard later.
  3. Houston Methodist went live with a pilot that connects Amazon’s Echo Dot with its Epic EHR system.
  4. After acquiring Iora Health in 2021, Amazon’s One Medical introduced a rebranding initiative for the older adult care clinics.
  5. Amazon’s pharmacy customers in College Station, Texas, can now receive their prescriptions via drone delivery in under an hour.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
