- Carol Fox, MD, was appointed chief medical officer of Independence Health System, the organization formed by the merger of Butler (Pa.) Health System and Greensburg, Pa.-based Excela Health System.
- Ryan Van Donselaar, DO, was named chief medical officer of Danville, Ind.-based Hendricks Regional Health.
- Demetria Malloy, MD, was appointed chief medical officer and chief health officer of Community Health Plan of Washington, a nonprofit managed care organization.
- Farah Shafi, MD, was named chief medical officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island.
- Jennifer Orozco, DMSc, PA-C, was named the first chief medical officer of the American Academy of Physician Associates.
- National services organization Endeavors appointed Priti Mody-Bailey, MD, as its first chief medical officer.
