Houston-based Harris Health will consolidate its local primary care practices into another nearby medical facility, Houston Business Journal reported Dec. 31.

The move will impact primary care practices in the Houston Heights neighborhood, according to the report. The site relocation will transition services into a facility with “more capacity, updated infrastructure and a larger array of clinical support services.”

The system said it would communicate directly with patients about relocation timelines, appointments and operating hours.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
