VItality adds Dr. Alan Spiro to C-suite team

Alan Spiro, MD, has been appointed chief clinical adviser for Chicago-based healthcare engagement platform creator Vitality.

Dr. Spiro has worked in healthcare for more than 30 years and serves as president and chief medical officer of Laguna Health, a virtual care platform, according to a Feb. 28 news release from Vitality. He previously held leadership roles at companies including healthcare technology group Blue Health Intelligence and Medica, an insurance provider based in France.

In his new role, Dr. Spiro will focus on growing Vitality’s U.S. presence by providing clinical oversight and operating as a spokesperson for the group, the release said.
