Here are five physician practice and medical group acquisitions since Dec. 1, 2025, as reported by Becker’s:
1. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based HonorHealth finalized its acquisition of Evernorth Care Group, part of Cigna Group. HonorHealth agreed to acquire Evernorth Care Group in early September. At the time, Evernorth operated 18 clinics in the greater Phoenix area and offered integrated primary care services to almost 80,000 patients. However, HonorHealth only acquired 11 locations.
2. Cincinatti-based The Christ Hospital Health Network acquired Anderson (Ohio) OB/GYN group.
3. Memphis, Tenn.-based Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital entered an agreement to acquire Memphis Children’s Clinic.
4. Conshohocken, Pa.-based pharmaceutical company Cencora plans to acquire the majority of the outstanding equity interests it does not currently own in OneOncology from TPG for approximately $3.6 billion. OneOncology’s affiliated practices and management will retain a minority stake following the deal.
5. Lee Health has acquired Prime MD Naples (Fla.), marking its first primary care presence in the county.
