Dr. Parsa joined Cottage Health and the Cottage Children’s Medical Center as a member of the medical staff in 2013, according to a release shared with Becker’s Jan. 4 from the healthcare system. She began practicing in 2011 and specializes in pediatric rheumatology.
She has received a variety of awards and honors for her work in rheumatology, including the Arthritis Foundation Pacific Region Juvenile Leadership Award and being named an Arthritis Foundation Walk to Cure Arthritis Medical Honoree.
In this role, Dr. Parsa will be responsible for overseeing the development of pediatric services and community partnerships.
