Prior to his new role, Dr. Turkal was the president and CEO of Downers Grove, Ill.- and Milwaukee-based Advocate Aurora Health system. Additionally, Dr. Turkal served as the chair of the American Hospital Association Governing Council for Health Systems, according to the Oct. 3 Lohman news release.
