The changes affect 10 of the Johnson City, Tenn.-based health system’s facilities, according to an Aug. 15 news release from Ballad.
Here is a summary of the changes:
• Seth Brown, MD, who currently serves as chief medical officer of Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City and Niswonger Children’s Network, will also serve as chief medical officer of Franklin Woods Community Hospital, also located in Johnson City.
• Daniel Lewis, MD, current chief medical officer for Greeneville (Tenn.) Community Hospital, will also serve in the role for Hawkins County Memorial Hospital and Hancock County Hospital, located in Rogersville and Sneedville, Tenn., respectively.
• David Wild, MD, will remain as chief medical officer for Johnson City Medical Center.
• Sean Ochsenbein, MD, has been appointed chief medical officer for three Tennessee hospitals: Johnson County Community Hospital In Mountain City, Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton and Unicoi Community Hospital in Erwin.
