Marit Health, a jobs and compensation platform for clinicians, has launched Community, an online forum where verified physicians and advanced practice providers can discuss compensation, contracts and careers, according to an Oct. 20 blog post from the company.
Members must pass a one-time credential check before joining, and can post under an anonymous handle or their real name. They can join channels by specialty, interest and location, and can post, reply and upvote. Marit said posting in Community, even under a real name, will not link users to their anonymous salary submissions or job search activity on the platform.
Marit has nearly 140,000 clinicians on its platform, more than 40,000 peer-reported salaries and more than 115,000 job listings.
“I’ve always felt like the most honest career conversations happen in the hallway, between colleagues who trust each other,” Rob Anderson, MD, physician co-founder of Marit, wrote in the blog post.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
