The new additions include three former sole practitioners specializing in internal medicine:

  • Dr. Robert DeMartin
  • Dr. Yeow Tong
  • Dr. Stephen Raphael

Additionally, groups Med-Care and Morris Medical Associates have become Consensus Health Primary Care Med-Care and Primary Care Morris Medical Associates. The two groups specialize in family medicine and internal medicine, respectively.

Physicians’ choices to join Consensus Health reflect the benefits received from a larger medical group model. These benefits include participation in value-based programs, access to administrative support services, utilizing technology platforms, and greater influence in contracting across business areas, according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
