Providence Regional Medical Center Everett (Wash.) has inked a new hospitalist services contract with Vituity, a physician-owned multispecialty partnership, the Herald Net reported April 21.
In February, the hospital ended its agreement with Optum, its previous hospitalist services provider. That partnership had been in place for more than 20 years, according to the report. Current hospitalists with Providence will be offered similar roles with Vituity, and the partnership will go into effect July 29,
“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Providence and support Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with a hospitalist program built for long-term strength, clinical excellence, and continuity of care,” said Surinder Yadav, Vituity’s executive vice president of physician practice, in the report. “We deeply value the opportunity to welcome these physicians into Vituity and to work alongside Providence to deliver outstanding care for patients and the community.”
