Dayton (Ohio) Children’s Hospital will acquire Mercy Health’s pediatric practice and its rehabilitation services in early March, with both locations to be renamed Dayton Children’s as part of the agreement, WHIO reported Feb. 11.
The acquisition expands Dayton Children’s footprint in western Ohio and strengthens its presence in community-based pediatric and rehabilitation care. The practice is located in Urbana and the rehabilitation services are located in Springfield.
Staff at both locations will officially transition to Dayton Children’s employees on March 9
