Below are the percentages of physicians who would either change their specialty or profession if they had the opportunity, according to the Medical Economics’ 2023 “Physician Report.” .

The report pulled from data from physicians who responded to email invitations throughout the first and second quarters of 2023. Physicians of multiple specialties were surveyed on salaries, productivity, malpractice rates, the state of the profession and other topics.
