Difficult patients and excessive rules and regulations were determined as the most challenging parts of physicians’ jobs around the world, according to Medscape‘s 2023 “International Physician Compensation Report.”

The report, released Oct. 11, pulled from survey responses from full-time practicing physicians in 11 countries.

Spain: 23%

Mexico: 20%

Canada: 17%

United States: 15%

Brazil: 14%

France: 12%

Italy: 9%

Argentina: 8%

United Kingdom: 8%
