The cost of a physician visit in the healthiest, unhealthiest states

Hawaii is the healthiest state, while West Virginia is the least healthy, according to a Jan. 8 analysis from Forbes Advisor.

The analysis examined each state’s disease risk factors, substance abuse, lifestyle habits and health outlook.

Meanwhile, insurance company Sidecar Health’s care calculator determined the average cash price of a physician visit in each state, with basic office visits ranging from $79 to $172 across the country.

Here is the average cash price of an office visit in the healthiest and least healthy states:
