The report pulled from survey responses from 253 US-based physicians who work in clinical practice across a mix of specialties, according to a March 5 news release from Apollo Intelligence, InCrowd’s parent company. The report found that burnout decreased from 70% in 2022 to 64% in 2023.

Meanwhile, 26% of respondents said they feel the impact of professional burnout on their mental health, with another 23% said they feel burned out professionally. The report also found that more physicians said they found their profession “extremely rewarding,” rising from 30% in 2022 to 42% in 2023.
