Dr. Galion has already begun her work addressing physician wellness at the hospital, according to a Feb. 28 news release from the hospital. These improvements include opening two lounge spaces for physicians caring for patients in the level 1 trauma center.
CHOC also is one of just a few of the children’s hospitals selected to participate in the American Medical Association’s annual wellness survey.
CHOC’s efforts to address physician wellness will focus on three main principles: personal resilience, efficiency of practice and culture of wellness, the release said.
