The program was put on this status following a September meeting of the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant and will remain on probation until its next review in September 2025, according to a statement from the university.
The physician assistant program at Quinnipiac remains accredited while on probation and making improvements more closely aligned to ARC-PA standards.
“The School of Health Sciences and Quinnipiac University fully support the Physician Assistant Studies Program and are actively addressing the concerns raised by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant,” the university said. “We remain committed to student success and delivering a high-quality, nationally ranked program.”.
