Rowan University launches graduate PA program

The Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, N.J., is launching a new master’s of physician assistant studies program.

According to an Oct. 9 news release, the two-year program will begin enrolling students in fall 2026 in a new facility that is currently under construction. The facility will include a “state-of-the-art” simulation center, a clinical skills lab and a fully equipped, modern cadaver anatomy lab. Students will partner with Marlton, N.J.-based Virtua Health to complete clinical coursework. 

“We are thrilled to launch a much-needed physician assistant studies program at Rowan-Virtua SOM,” said Richard Jermyn, DO, dean of Rowan-Virtua SOM. “Training world-class physician assistants aligns perfectly with our mission to foster innovation in medical education and improve patient care for those most in need.”
