An investigation conducted by Asante alleges that Paul Hoffman, MD, has been accessing the medical records of patients he had no treatment relationship with since 2014. His access to the electronic medical record system has been removed, the report said.

No financial information or driver’s license and Social Security numbers were accessed in this unauthorized search, according to Asante.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
