Between April 15, 2022, and September 27, 2022, law enforcement made six undercover patient visits to the clinic of Jason Stamper, MD, where he prescribed amphetamines to an undercover officer without a legitimate medical purpose, the Justice Department said in a July 15 news release.
According to the release, Dr. Stamper performed no medical examination, did not inquire into the medical need, took no action when the officer did not secure blood work and increased doses without explanation, among other allegations.
