Saltzer, which was founded in 1961, cited ongoing financial and economic challenges as the reason for selling or closing, according to a Jan. 18 news release from the organization.
The group said it is negotiating with healthcare organizations interested in purchasing portions of the Saltzer’s operations and is working with providers and patients to ensure continuity of care.
