Dr. Gottesman was a professor at Einstein, formerly served as the school’s director of psychoeducational services and currently serves as chair of the board, according to the publication. The donation is one of the largest to any educational institution in the U.S.
“I have the opportunity … to help [Einstein] in a transformative way — and I’m just so proud and so humbled — both — that I could do it,” Dr. Gottesman told The Times.
