Dr. Guntharp previously worked at Ecru, Miss.-based Friendship Medical Clinic. He is also a part of the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholars Program.
At Access, Dr. Guntharp will focus mainly on chronic care and preventive medicine.
“I’m more than capable [of] managing complex medical conditions and coordinating with specialties, but my real passion is trying to prevent the complex medical conditions on the front end so that way you have a long healthy life,” Dr. Guntharp told the publication.
He began accepting patients in early January.
