Dr. Johnson most recently served as president and CEO of the health system’s Mercy General Hospital, according to a June 18 news release from Dignity.
In her new role, she will oversee five of the health system’s Sacramento-area California hospitals: Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Carmichael-based Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Woodland Memorial Hospital, Methodist Hospital of Sacramento and Mercy Hospital of Folsom, according to the release. The health system has initiated its search for her successor.
