The surgery was conducted in March using a robotic system with magnified 3DHD vision, allowing Dr. Eltemamy to place both kidneys through one small incision, according to a July 17 release from Cleveland Clinic.
The 70-year-old patient went home in three days with minimal pain, the release said.
