OneOncology has brought on 159 physicians to its platform this year by adding practices and helping practices hire physicians, according to a Dec. 20 release.
OneOncology is based in Nashville and is the national platform for independent oncology practices, with 850 cancer care providers in over 175 locations. The platform supports an estimated 500,000 patients nationwide.
The network has added 35 physicians from 10 practices across New York, California, Pennsylvania and Tennessee in the last six months. The most growth was found at New York Cancer and Blood Specialists in Port Jefferson Station, which added 23 physicians from five practices.
The newly added physicians practice across the continuum of care, from primary care and urology to medical, radiation, gynecological and breast surgical oncology.
