Alex Jahangir, MD, has received the William W. Tipton Jr., MD, Leadership Award from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Jahangir currently serves as vice chair of orthopedic surgery and director of the division of orthopedic trauma at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, according to a March 16 news release.
