UF Health Central Florida adds chief physician executive

John Davidyock, MD, has been appointed senior vice president and chief physician executive of Leesburg-based UF Health Central Florida.

Dr. Davidyock joins UF Health with nearly two decades of experience as a physician leader, according to a May 24 news release. He most recently served as vice president and chief medical officer for the Polk region at Baycare Health System.

Dr. Davidyock is also ​​on the faculty at Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia and the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Penn.
