Mr. Yuhas joined UCHealth in 2017 and made several notable changes to the system including establishing a stroke center, advancing primary care, behavioral health and orthopedics and acquiring two additional Colorado hospitals.
He is moving to a new position at UPMC, where he will oversee 37 hospitals across three states.
“My time here has been a highlight of my career that I will always fondly remember,” Mr. Yuhas said in a Dec. 15 press release. “I am particularly grateful to have been a part of UCHealth and this region as we have grown over the years, improving access and delivering better care for our patients.”
