Dr. Agarwala is the board’s 13th member, according to a Dec. 13 Tenet news release. She will serve as a member of the quality, compliance and ethics committee and the human resources committee.
Dr. Agarwala is a partner at investment firm Andreessen Horowitz, where she leads the firm’s biotech and digital health fund.
