Richard Makowiec, MD, will take over as chief surgical officer of Synergy Health Partners, a hospital staffing and management company.
Dr. Makowiec succeeds Rand Schleusner, MD, one of the company's co-founders, according to a Feb. 7 news release from the organization.
In his new role, Dr. Makowiec will be tasked with using his business and healthcare experience to recruit and retain physicians.
