The endowment will honor W. Larry Gluck, MD, who will retire from his position as the medical director of Prisma Health’s Cancer Institute May 12. Dr. Gluck has been with the health system for nearly four decades.

While at Prisma Health, Dr. Gluck established a variety of research programs, including an institute for translational research, a center for integrative oncology and survivorship, and a center for cancer prevention and wellness.

The W. Larry Chuck, MD Endowed Chair of Translational Molecular Oncology Research position will be used to fund a physician-scientist’s work, the report said.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
