Prevent Blindness adds new chair, board members

Eye health and safety nonprofit, Prevent Blindness, has appointed Jim McGrann as its chair, and added Susan Primo, OD, and Susan Stone to its board of directors.

Mr. McGrann is the CEO of Professional Eyecare Associates of America. He was named chair-elect of the Prevent Blindness board of directors in 2021, according to a Nov. 7 press release. 

Dr. Primo is a physician at Emory Eye Center in Atlanta and works in public health. She is joining the Prevent Blindness board of directors and will serve on the equity committee.  

Ms. Stone is the founder of SLStone consulting, which creates connections between clients, patients, providers, nonprofits and policymakers in the vision space. She is joining the Prevent Blindness board of directors and will serve as chair on the development committee.
