Parker Health selects Dr. Philip McDonald as chief medical officer

Parker Health has selected Philip McDonald, MD, as its first chief medical officer.

In this role, Dr. McDonald will oversee the product development of Parker Suite features and the expansion of ParkerCare, a healthcare subscription service, for the biotechnology company. He will also oversee the wellness and medical category of the company, according to a Jan. 5 release.

Dr. McDonald is the CEO and founder of PrimeTime Radiology, where he services professional sports teams and athletes across the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB. He is a practicing diagnostic radiologist and previously served as the medical analyst for NBA TV.
