Orlando Health taps chief nursing officer

Orlando (Fla.) Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital has named Heather Moynihan, BSN, as its associate chief nursing officer.

Ms. Moynihan will support the hospital’s nursing leaders and frontline team members in the role, according to a Sept. 11 press release sent to Becker’s. 

She previously worked for Orlando Health’s heart and vascular institute as senior director of nursing, where she led initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. 

She also worked as an outpatient nursing operations manager, mentoring other nurses into leadership roles, and led the rollout of Orlando Health’s comprehensive health records system. 

Ms. Moynihan began her new role as associate chief nursing officer Sept. 8.
